About Myself

我的相片
Dustin Hou
Toronto, Canada
I am person that likes to try new things and experiment with my creativity. I believe this is how one is able to learn more and succeed. I am open and interested in learning and I like the fact there is little boundaries in art because it allows artists to think more openly giving them a chance to expand their knowledge and imagination. On my spare time, I enjoy drawing and combining twisted and random images that don’t necessarily make sense together. But when I have a lot of time, I usually begin to try new forms of art just for fun. For example, lately I have been experimenting with Chinese traditional art and history and I have developed an interest because I noticed that there is more and more to learn. As an artist and student, I am able to analyze my strengths and weaknesses. Sketching and shading is my strength because I have spent most of the time in my life composing pencil sketches. I am also good at thinking creatively and my imagination is what usually inspires me to create and touch different fields of art. I notice that I have little sense in colour. The ability to use colours effectively is my weakness.
